FOMENTO, together with the Spanish company Expansion Exterior, jointly defined the project scope, supply, installation and commissioning, technical guarantee services, training and maintenance and rehabilitation of the Accident and Emergency Unit.

The Kenyatta National Hospital is the National Referral and Teaching Hospital. On average, the hospital cares for more than 80,000 inpatients and more than 500,000 outpatients a year.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS:

• To improve diagnostic services.
• To reduce waiting time at the Surgical Outpatient Clinic and improve day care services.
• To reduce average length of stay of patients.
• To improve clinical outcomes.
• To improve child and maternal care.
• To improve teaching and research facilities.
