Ugandan shilling weakens as dividend payments weigh

The Ugandan shilling was stable on Monday on the back of a slowdown in demand for dollars from commercial banks and merchandise importers.

At 1005 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,695/3,705 per dollar, same level as Friday's close.
